The structure for conducting the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process encompasses:
- Establishing an ICAAP Flow that complements the bank’s existing processes
- Constitution of the ICAAP Committee and Task Force
- Defining the roles and responsibilities across the concerned departments
The ICAAP Framework and structure are defined along the lines of the Basel II – Pillar II guidelines and the Principle of Proportionality defined therein. Furthermore, the framework is flexible enough to adapt to guidelines set by regulatory bodies of various countries around the world.
